Thanks for the suggestions. My blank = yeast cells with lacZ but no
estrogen. I incubate for 15min and get yellow color development within an
hour for both the blank and spiked samples. My "no yeast cells" control has
no cells, no added estrogen and no color development even after days so I'm
thinking it's probably not an ONPG problem.
