Dear Kazuo,
we have used the pBridge vector quite successfully with the strains HF7c
and SFY526 on SD lacking methionine. If your strain does not have a
mutation in its methionine pathway it should grow since all none
essential amino acids should be metabolized. I propose: try a different
strain.
