Extraction of plasmid DNA from yeast

Hi  Ashok,

1   You need n't acid-wash it by yourself.  You can order Acid-washed glass
beads from Sigma( G-8772).  Its size is 425-600 microons.

2  When I used this methods to get plasmid from yeast extracts,  I find it is
important to use HB101 strain( E.coli)  for yeast extracts tramsformting.  If
you choose other strain, it seems you can not  get plasmids.  You can reference
the Red Book.
