Hi, everyone,
I am a graduate student working on yeast expression of a toxic
peptide, which is under the CUP1 promoter. While I am doing the
cloning of the expression vector in yeast. It seems that the yeast
strains didn't grow well and the production of the vector is quite
low. However, the product will be toxic to yeast. Then, I wonder if
anyone know any information on whether the CUP1 could function
slightly in E. coli. Any reply will be highly appreciated. Thank you
very much for your concerning.
Sincerely yours,
Hengyao Niu
