INSTITUTE OF MOLECULAR BIOLOGY & BIOTECHNOLOGY IN CRETE
Postdoctoral positions in Gene Regulation
Positions for experienced biochemists are opened by the EU Marie Curie
Development Host Fellowship Program at the Institute of Molecular
Biology & Biotechnology (IMBB) in Crete, to study the function of
chromatin remodeling proteins. The project is focused on the analysis
of yeast and mammalian histone acetyltransferase and deacetylase
complexes in in vitro reconstituted chromatin based transcription
systems. Proven skills in protein purification and analysis as well as
expertise in in vitro reconstituted biological systems are required.
Successful candidates will enjoy a stimulating environment in a
multidisciplinary team working in close collaboration on various
aspects of gene regulation. State of the art equipped laboratories and
unique opportunities for complementary training in molecular biology
are available.
Applicants must be residents of European Union and hold a PhD degree.
Applications together with curriculum vitae and three letters of
recommendation should be sent to:
