There are indeed no selectable markers available in the S. cerevisiae
strain that I am studying. So I want to use special selectable markers
which encode resistance to drugs
that inhibit yeast growth, e.g. hygromycin B for Hgm or tunicamycin for
TUN. However,
I have not any of these special markers at hand, and therefore I was
greatly impeded in my experiments. Could anyone help me?
Sincerely
