Postdoctoral Fellow:
A postdoctoral position is available immediately to study aspects of cell
wall assembly in yeast and filamentous fungi. Projects include genetic and
biochemical identification of candidate targets for anti-fungal drug
development. Applicants should be energetic, self-motivated, and have a
strong background in molecular biology and eukaryotic genetics. Experience
with the genetic manipulation of the yeasts Saccharomyces cerevisiae and
Candida albicans, or the filamentous fungi Ustilago maydis and Apsergillus
nidulans is highly desired.
