Our company is a consulting firm, and we have been retained by a major US
corporation in the midwest to find for them a Yeast Specialist. This PhD or
MS level scientist will be responsible for independent work involving yeast.
The client company is interested in yeast flavor compounds, and the
scientist we are looking for will have a molecular biology/biochemistry
background and significant work with yeast. Strong microbial physiology
skills would be a plus. A knowledge of fermentation and statistical
analysis is required, and some industrial experience would be very valuable.
If you have an interest or know someone in this field whom you could refer,
we would very much appreciate your response.
