====================== New DNA Sequences =======================
With this message 3833 new Saccharomyces entires to the GSS (Genome
Survey Sequence) section of GenBank were removed. These new sequences
are from Dr. Michael Snyder's laboratory at Yale University and
represent insertion sites from a library. The insertions are a
minitransposon mTn-3xHA/lacZ which contains lacZ, URA3, and tet
resistance. The title of Dr. Snyder's project is "Large-Scale
Analysis of the Yeast Genome by Transposon Tagging and Gene
Disruption." I will send a version of this message contains all the
removed GSS sequences on request. -Mike

Please note that new sequences take about a week to appear in SGD. To
obtain any of the yeast GenBank sequences use the NCBI query (Entrez)
e-mail server, query at ncbi.nlm.nih.gov - send the word help and
instructions will be returned.
