Some bcy1 mutants in yeast could be lethal??

I've never worked with sra1/bcy1 mutants but I can provide some information
that the Yeast Proteome Database curators have culled from the literature.

SRA1/BCY1/(REG1)/YIL033C Regulatory subunit of cAMP-dependent protein
-mutant exhibits a sporulation defect (6687)
-mutants sra1-105 and sra1-98 lose viability during nitrogen starvation and
accumulate lower levels of glycogen than wild type (30941)
-mutants sra1-105 and sra1-98 grow slowly on YPD media at 37 deg and on
YP-acetate media at 30 deg and poorly on YP-acetate media at 37 deg (30941)

-null mutants do not have in vitro PKA activity, fail to grow on many
carbon sources, and are very sensitive to heat shock and starvation (11053)

-deletion results in shortened lifespan (28371)
-mutants have reduced expression of ENA1 and are sensitive to Na+ and Li+
(see 31052)
-mutant cells lose viability when grown to stationary phase in glucose-rich
medium or when starved for nitrogen (10521, 11053, see 26576)
-disruption mutation, causing constitutive activation of the RAS/PKA
pathway, inhibits growth on maltose (28216)
