Greetings everyone,
I was wondering if anyone has any references to work that examined the
numbers and types of mutations induced by different concentrations of EMS
for S. cerevisiae. I am looking for a simple protocol that will generate a
small number of "random" mutations in a particular strain. I have thought
of Ty mutagenesis as well, but our lab is very new and we are still waiting
on delivery of our thermocycler and other molecular type machines.
Thanks in advance for your time.
Happy Holidays,
Scott
