Hello,
Does anyone know the details about the putative intron within the
GCR1 gene? I'm having some trouble figuring out exactly where
the intron lies, and what exactly the protein sequence would be.
The paper that described the intron is: Tornow and Santangelo,
1994, Genetics, 138: 973-974. The sequence entries in GenBank
and YPD list the original sequence, without considering the
intron.
Any help is greatly appreciated.
