Hello,
I was an undergraduate student here at the Univ. of Mich. Dearborn and
for my project I had to utilize strains of yeast and see what variations
occurred under different conditions. I have chosen Schizosaccharomyces
pombe as one strain. I have looked at many websites and could someone
please tell me the following:
1) What does S. pombe ferment?
2) What are the products (i.e. ethanol, CO2 etc.)
3) What enzymes are used?
