I'm looking for advice on two general questions:
1. How likely is it that S. cerevisiae or S. pombe might express genes
from other fungi (supplied as genomic clones, with the native fungal
promoters, possible introns, etc.)?
2. How good is yeast at tolerating expression of prokaryotic genes?
