Hi Didier:

I suspect you need to optimize your transfer more.  I suspect that you are
blasting your smallish protein right thru the membrane, so maybe back off on
the voltage.

My experience with semi-dry transfers was that the transfer rate/protein
size slope ratio was much steeper than what you get in conventional
transfers.  Thus, the smaller proteins transfer much much faster than the
larger ones.  This is also true for the conventional setup, but not nearly
as steep a slope.   Therefore, the semi-dry requires much much more fine
tuning for your indevidual protein.
