hi everybody,
I have a molecule to test on yeast. for the moment i put 20µm on
exponential yeast in order to see at 600nm the effect on the yeast
growth. it allowed me to see an inhibition of about 25 % of control
(yeast with no molecule) in four hours. But now i would like to know if
this inhibition is due to death cells. what methods should i use to find
a death cells amount.
i heard about CFU, flow cytometry...
What is the best solution and can you give me any protocols?
