Postdoctoral Position - Transcription factor cell biology
Department of Cell Biology
Baylor College of Medicine
An IMMEDIATE opening is available to study subnuclear localization of
steroid receptors and their co-activators using a novel molecular
morphology approach and novel yeast screens. Experimental studies will be
performed upon fixed or
live cultured cells, and eventually with transgenic mice, to identify
subnuclear domains and molecular signals involved in steroid
receptor-mediated transactivation.
Applicants must possess extensive molecular cloning experience and
communication skills (oral and written), and be able to integrate well with
a larger group that focuses upon traditional transcription factor biology.
Experience in immunolabeling and digital microscopy is preferred, though
not required.
