burning question - hints for apoptose in yeast

There is a question that seems to arise almost naturally when working
with yeast, and i know well that it has been posed at this site several
times:

Is there apoptose in yeast ?

My background is as follows: i asked several scientists working on
related topics on yeast if they discovered apoptosis. Interstingly, most
of them (including me) already looked for this pathway by examining the
"laddering" phenomenom. None of them discovered such a thing. But very
recently i have been told, that there was a poster on a conference,
showing even "ladering" phenotypes for dying yeast cells. Of course i was
extremely interested in this poster, but all we could reconstruct about
it was that it was probably shown in a Denver meeting by a scientist
probably named Villadsen. Unfortunately there is no publication to be
found from her adressing this question. Was the whole thing
unreproducible and has not been published for this ? Since there are so
many people looking for this phenomenom it would not be astonishing that
one of them got false positive results.

Did anyone see this poster ?

Naturally i am aware that i am just one of the hundreds of searchers for
this (there were a lot of articles posted here), but maybe anyone can
help ? Who is Villadsen ??

Best wishes to all of you

Martin
