Hi Folks,
We are just about to begin a series of experiments to determine if a
protein we have been working with is phosphorylated. Nothing fancy here
just metabolically label in 32P and immunoppt. Aside from realizing that
cells should be grown in low P media, I was looking for some general
guidelines, perhaps a reference, that would give some relevant details
like how much 32P per ml culture and how many mls. of culture to see
phosphate incorporation into an average protein. Any suggestions would be
appreciated.
