SUC2 is in the genomic sequence. It is ORF YIL162W. This was
included in the original submission from Barrell's group for this
region in December of 1994, see SC9402 (accession number Z46921). The
sequence from Barrell matches the original sequence of SUC2 submitted
by:
Carlson,M., Taussig,R., Kustu,S. and Botstein,D. (1983) The
secreted form of invertase in Saccharomyces cerevisiae is
synthesized from mRNA encoding a signal sequence
Mol. Cell. Biol. 3 (3), 439-447
That original sequence is SCINVE (Accession Number V01311).
