Due to the rapid release of the data, we had to postpone the submission
of the complete chromosomes to apply and verify the systematic ORF
nomenclature. Currently the data are submitted to the EBI chromosome
by chromosome. We expect that this job will be completed within one
or two weeks.
As soon as MIPS has merged and annotated all PIR-International Protein
Sequence Database entries for yeast, these entries will be released
as a separate subset.
All information can already be retrieved from the MIPS www server:
http://www.mips.biochem.mpg.de/mips/yeast
This resource includes up-to-date homology lists/alignments as well as
the hits to the human EST database. Please note that the systematic
nomenclature of Yeast ORFs is not yet completed.
