Looking for plasmid containing KAR2 (BiP) promoter

Dear Yeast researchers,

My project involves the investigation of the quality control
mechanisms of protein folding in S. cerevisiae. I have generated a
series of mutants in the glycosylation pathway and would like to study
their impact on the protein folding machinary. I would like to study
the effect of these glycosylation mutants on protein folding by
measuring the inductionof BiP. Using the plasmids pSZLWT, pSZWT or
pLG-178-UPR-Y containing the wild-type KAR2 promoter and the lacZ
reporter gene (Mori et al., (1992) EMBO J., 11, 2583-2593) it would be
possible to address this interesting question.
For this reason I am looking for somebody who could provide me with
the above mentioned plasmids, the BiP promoter or could forward more
informationin this context. I would be very grateful for any help in
this regard.

Sincerely, yours,

Claude A. Jakob
