Dear Yeast Group,
I am looking for an inducible promoter that will give me the highest
possible expression levels of an heterologous integral membrane protein.
I'm thinking of using a GAL1 promoter and am wondering if anything better
is available. I'm new to the yeast field and would appreciate any kind of
advice regarding the expression and isolation of this kind of protein.
