Leaky yeast: 6PGDH overproducers

1. Does anyone have a method for making yeast leaky so that it will take
up relatively small molecules that it does not otherwise take up? Might
electroporation work?

2.Does anyone have a strain which overproduces Glucose-6-phosphate
dehygrogenase (zfi or 6-phospho[luconate dehdrogenase (gnd1 or gnd2)?

Any help would be appreciated.
