Dominant Gal-minus mutant

Hi, there:
I recently got a mutant that displays sort of distinctive phenotypes:
it grows very slowly on galactose-containing medium at 30C, but is
otherwise normal on glucose medium (except slow growth at 37C). This
galactose minus phenotype is dominant! So, any ideas about what type
mutant(s) may give rise a dominant gal-minus phenotype?
   Many thanks in advance.
