sporulation of s288c diploid

I used to use S288c derivatives and had the same problem.  Despite repeated 
attempts, I never did get a high ratio of 4-spore tetrads so I switched to 
another background when the opportunity came along.  Perhaps someone out there 
knows the secret to success.
