I know everyone hates these technical questions, but I'm desperate.
Someone suggested the substrate CPRG to me as one that is significantly more
sensitive than ONPG for beta-galactosidase. I have been more successful at
ordering the compound than at finding references for its use.
Can anyone steer me to a procedure for using this compound for yeast
beta-gals? I understand it is about 10 times more sensitive than ONPG--anyone
have any experience with this?
