Postdoctoral Researcher: A position available for an experienced molecular
biologist to work in my laboratory on the control of gene expression in
plants. The research focuses on the mechanisms by which the expression of
the mitochondrial proteins involved in photorespiration are controlled.
We are particularly interested in the glycine decarboxylase multienzyme
complex. Experience in standard molecular biology techniques is essential
and a background in promoter analysis is highly desirable. The salary is
competitive ($23,000 to 25,000/year including a full fringe benefits
package). The position is funded for two years and available immediately.
