Hello everyone,
I have been using the Yeast Genomic DNA for PCR. I find the
preparation of Yeast Genomic DNA is a bit of time consuming process.
I am looking for a rapid method where I could pick up the yeast colony
from the plate and lyse the cells (in situ way), then use that cell lysate
as a source of template for PCR. I heard this sort of method is possible
with E.coli. I am woundering
ndering is there any method describes about using the
whole yeast cells directly for PCR?
Thanks in advance for any help.
