selecting for growth arrest

We want to select in yeast for temperature sensitive mutants in our gene
that should result in the yeast failing to grow at the restrictive
temperature. Is there a good drug (ie a nucleotide analog) to kill those
yeast that continue to grow at the restrictive temperature in order to
enrich for the population that failed to grow at the restrictive
temperature? One could then wash out the drug and recover those yeasts at
the permissive temperature. ts mutants in this gene seem to be rare and we
would like to enrich for them. Any experience on this would be
appreciated!
