Dear yeastnetters, Ingrid Kool, PhD student in our lab, urgently needs a reliable protocol to map the 5'-end of a very low abundant yeast mRNA. In whose hands does primer extension or any other method work fine for low-level mRNAs? Any suggestions are highly appreciated! Pim Mager
