Rob, You might look into the following papers that describe copper
inducible promoters (Macreadie et al. (1989) Plasmid 21, 147-150) and
the PHO5 promoter which is regulated by inorganic phosphate
(Kramer et al., (1984) PNAS 81, 367-370). 'Hope all is well.
