Strain X2180-1A (or was it 1B?) made truly decent beer for me in several
experimental batches in the early '80's. Required a trick, though: had to
drink two or three (or was it five or six?) pints of commercial brew before
enjoying the X2180 batches. On the whole, not a very good idea.
