Greetings yeast people,
I am a homebrewer of over 7 years and have quite an extensive
collection of different brewing strains. I would be ineterested
in producing a sort of cladogram of these stains if an easy enough
means exist. What I was wondering was, are there various regions
of the genome that have been identified in other taxonomic analyses
for which there is enough variation between populations but not within
populations; ie primers for a microsattelite type of analysis?? Any
suggestions are greatly welcome.
Thanks in advance,
Eric
