Both leu2-3 and leu2-112 are frameshift mutations. leu2-3 is
insertion of a G residue at about nt 246 in a string of four G
residues. It is very close to the KpnI site. leu2-112 has not been
sequenced. It is between the EcoRI site and the 3' end of the gene.
