Hello all--
We suspect that the fusion proteins we have created for use in the yeast
2-hybrid system are being degraded when expressed in the strains
used for screening libraries. Is anyone familiar with a protease
deficient yeast strain that would be compatible with either Stan Fields'
2-hybrid assay or Roger Brent's interaction trap protocol? Strain
designations and/or contact names would be greatly appreciated.
