The YEAST/bionet.molbio.yeast newsgroup has passed our tests and is
operational at both daresbury.ac.uk and net.bio.net.

USENET users do not need subscriptions and can post directly to
bionet.molbio.yeast at your local site. Please be sure to set your
article distribution to either "world" or "bionet" if the latter
option is available.

We are now accepting e-mail subscriptions at the usual addresses
according to your location (see below). If you wish to participate by
e-mail, you must request a subscription to be added to this list.
Voting in favor of the newsgroup does not automatically sign you up on
the mailing list.

E-mail users can post messages (EXCEPT SUBSCRIPTION REQUESTS!!!) to
one of the following addresses:

yeast at net.bio.net Americas and the Pacific Rim

Messages posted by mail show up in USENET news and vice versa.

People who are unfamiliar with the BIOSCI/bionet newsgroups should
request the BIOSCI FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions) sheet via mail to
biosci at net.bio.net. This covers a variety of useful topics about
participating in the newsgroups, searching BIOSCI archives, etc.
