Position Open: Program Manager, Toxicology

This position is located on the East Coast.
In this position you will work closely with outside consultants and vendors
in the performance of animal and cell culture experiments needed to meet
content, sample annotation, and QC objectives.. You will also coordinate
activities internally for the processing of and publication of data of Tox
Specifically you will:

Coordinate the development of individual protocols for animal studies
through daily interaction within the Tox department and with CROs

  a.. Assure appropriate tracking and prioritization and timely
accomplishment of animal studies at CROs and manage the delivery of tissue
  b.. Coordinate receipt of study data and reports from CROs
  c.. Assist in sample accession, release appropriate samples to the
production group, and provide appropriate study group and other annotations
  d.. Perform appropriate QC on these annotations and study groups following
completion of a study through production
  e.. Manage contracts including invoicing and payments; track deliverables;
maintain timelines; identify problem areas and implement solutions
  f.. Coordinate activities with other internal departments by communicating
with operations regarding study conduction and sample shipments, with
production regarding sample release and processing, and with software
development to ensure adequate support for data collection and data mining
  a.. Masters in a relevant field
  b.. At least 2 years in a project management position and in a CRO in the
monitor/performance animal studies
  c.. Experience with contracts and equipped with project management skills
  d.. Experience with cell culture a plus
  e.. Impeccable oral and written communication skills
