Short talks will be selected from abstracts.
This symposium addresses the molecular mechanisms of these systems, generating a
unique forum of interdisciplinary discussion on quality control mechanisms of the
genome (DNA), the transcriptome (RNA) and the proteome, and thus bringing together
experts from traditionally separated fields.
Topics:
- Quality control of genomic information
- Quality control of transcription and RNA
- Quality control of RNA and protein biogenesis
- Quality control of Proteins
- Quality control of organelles and organisms
- Degradation pathways & Ubiquitin
Keynote Speakers:
- Elisa Izaurralde, Max Planck Institute for Developmental Biology, Germany
- Stefan Jentsch, Max Planck Institute of Biochemistry, Germany
- Jonathan Weissman, University of California, USA
Scientific Organisers:
- Bernd Bukau, University of Heidelberg, Germany
- John Diffley, Cancer Research UK, United Kingdom
- Matthias Hentze, EMBL Heidelberg, Germany
