2010 SYMPOSIUM ON PLANT PROTEIN PHOSPHORYLATION

DESCRIPTION: The Symposium on Plant Protein Phosphorylation provides an interdisciplinary research venue for scholars studying protein modification as it relates to a broad range of biological questions and using a variety of plant species. The symposium, which is being hosted by MU's Interdisciplinary Plant Group, is part of an ongoing series of international meetings on protein phosphorylation in plants. This year's Symposium will include a special event recognizing the leadership and scientific contributions of Professor Douglas Randall to the field of protein phosphorylation in plants.

POSTER SUBMISSIONS: The organizing committee invites poster submissions on topics related to plant biology research in general. The posters may describe recently completed research, research in progress, or publicly presented research. The Biochemical Journal will be sponsoring a 2010 Best Poster Award competition, the winner of which will be awarded $500.
