Hello everyone,
Could anyone tell me what type of unspecific homobifunctional protein cross-linker I could use that works at pH around 2. I'm planning to analyze quaternary structure using SDS-PAGE after cross-linking so the link should be stable under SDS-PAGE sample preparation conditions. My first thought was some amine-reactive cross-linker but I guess protonization blocks all conventional cross-linking reactions involving amines.
I will appreciate your suggestions.
