I am facing a prolem with expression of gst fusion potein of molecular
weight of around 41 kda incusive of weight of gst. the problem is i get only
a band of gst protein in the sds page and do not get the desired band of
fusion protein i.e. the protein of interest is not getting expressed. I had
used to enzymes for inserting the dna and they were Xho1 and BamH1. I have
checked for the dna insertion in plasmid pGEX4T-1 and it is correct. kindly
help.
