Amgen's Protein Formulation Department is seeking a Sr. Associate Scientist
who has a MS or BS degree in biochemistry (or similar) and at least 5 years
of biopharmaceutical experience in protein chemistry and hands-on experience
in protein characterization by separation techniques such as HPLC (e.g. size
exclusion, ion exchange, and reversed phase) Experience in peptide chemistry
and specialized biophysical methods (e.g. DSC, freeze-drying microscopy,
mass spectrometry, fluorescence, circular dichroism, etc.) is desirable.
In this critical role, you will be responsible for implementing and
executing stability studies for development of our commercial protein
formulation; developing stability assays; performing sample and data
analyses; and presenting the data in technical reports and team
presentations.
