Because with l-amino acids in a left handed helix the beta-carbon and
carbonyl-oxygen would collide. Since that is not possible, there would
be considerable strain on the backbone, which makes such a structure
improbable.

Both this and your other question could have been easily answered by
appropriate textbooks. Are you a troll?
