[Protein-analysis] Denatured Enzyme with Mechanical Substitutes

Lets say an enzyme molecule was denatured, but -- somehow -- its
denatured bonds were replaced with mechanical substitutes for those
bonds, would the enzyme still function?

In this madly hypothetical scenario, the enzyme's mechanical structure
would remain the same [due to the mechanical substitutes]. However, it
*might* be changed chemically.
