To ask a related question ... other than the CNBr activation method,
what are some alternatives?  (that is, if I want to prepare 
a DEAE-sepharose using DEAE and sepaharose - what are some methods
that will work??) (will not glutaraldehyde mess with protein structure
if you are using it to immobilize it onto a matrix like chitosan?)
