I currently express heterologous protein in E.coli using the lac
promoter and IPTG. I need to express 3 other proteins at the same time,
but not to the same extent, as the synthetic burden on the bacteria
would be too great (the other 3 do not need to be overexpressed as they
will be modifying the original protein). Can anyone recommend a strong,
constitutively expressed bacterial promoter I could use for the 3 other
genes?
