Peptide Extraction from in-gel digest

I'm having trouble getting good MS spectra on my peptides from in-gel digests.  
My extraction procedure is 3 x wash gel pieces in 50% ACN/5% TFA for 30 minutes.  I dry that down, then resuspend with 10 ul 0.5% TFA for zip tip.  

Any suggestions would be much appreciated!
