Are the wells treated for tissue culture? Cells do not adhere to
standard plates.
Are you using the same medium and growth conditions in tubes and plates
(temperature, humidity, CO2 level)?
When you ceck the cells under the microscope, have they attached to the
bottom of the wells and spread out, or are they rounded and float in the
medium?
