You may want to look at the LICOR Odyssey 2-Color Near InfraRed Imaging System.
It is the most quantitative imager on the market as it employs Direct Detection
of proteins on membranes w/o timed reactions, substrates, film or radioactivity,
Once you label, your membrane or gel is stabile. You instantly remove the timing
factor from the quantitation task. It also will allow you to similarly develop
and read an ELISA in 96 or 384 well plates as well as in-vivo cell-based assays
for protein quantitation.

Check it out at www.licor.com
